So, if you did not know I was suppose to go to the Foo Fighters show last night in OKC. Well, the show was canceled/rescheduled due to illness. Oh my, I was in morning for hours! But quickly I redirected my attention to the Florida primary. I was excited…

Well, Florida came and went…and I sure wish that the Foo Fighters show was not canceled. Florida frankly stunk. The dems did not count, and the repubs voted for McCain. Oh my….

Anyway some very interesting things are brewing:

John Edwards is dropping out. (Bill Clinton is on the phone with him promising him the world right now!)

McCain wins Florida, and in my prediction seals the Republican Nomination.

Foo Fighers vs. John McCain….I vote for Foo…. Grohl and Hawkins would make a great Indi ticket.

But on a serious note, pay very close attention to Edwards…his endorsement will be HUGE! I don’t think it would be over for Hillary if Edwards swings to Obama…but there is no doubt that if Edwards jumped on the Clinton machine…The Big O would be done. I can not see Edwards supporting Hillary..but I have been wrong most of the time so far.

Have you ever noticed that objects or things look different from different angles? The angle in which you look at the new Honda Accord…it might look a little like a popular German sedan. Maybe the angle of how you take pictures of yourself. Some of you might like the angle from the left…maybe the right. Or…maybe the angle from above is the best. How about those crazy pictures that if you look at them just the right way, or at the right angle you see something that you don’t see from other angles. (I personally NEVER see that stupid thing!)

Today I had an opportunity to see life from a different angle. I would like to take a moment and thank my friend Paul for allowing me to adjust my angle for a few hours and see life a little differently. See, Paul is homeless and in America without a green card. That being the case, he still has an a amazing story, and God is doing amazing things through Paul. Today I was able to adjust my perspective a bit, and see life from a different angle…and it was amazing and very eye opening.

The reality is friends….we look at life from a vary, vary narrow angle. It is times like today, with Paul that I am able to realize that my angle, and perspective on life is ridiculously narrow. You see, everything that I do, say and see is from my ridiculously narrow angle. The way I look a politics, the way I look at my family, and most of all, the way I look at God. The Reality of Angles! I am really trying to widen mine…how about you?

Jaw dropped and in utter amazment, “The Clinton Machine” takes New Hampshire. Hillary wins… What is totally nuts, just a few weeks ago Hillary was leading the polls in NH by 10%+…yesterday most polls put Obama up by 7-11%. What a swing, and that is what makes New Hampshire so unique with 44% Independent voters.

Here are the results.

Democrats (87% in)

Clinton 39%
Obama 37%
Edwards 17%
Richardson 5%

Republicans (86% in)

McCain 37%
Romney 32%
Huckabee 11%
Giuliani 9%
Paul 8%
Thompson 1%

If you could not tell, I am having a blast with this….and was really wrong again. Maybe I need to start listening and reading some new information. Actually I should stop reading and listening to anything but Brian, he almost nailed it this time!

I can say that I am a little, well actually, a lot disappointed with Ron Paul’s results. NH was suppose to be a solid state for Paul, and he fell short. I was hoping for 3rd, expecting 4th and got 5th place. Oh well, thats politics I guess. I still love his message.

Next Primaries to watch:
South Carolina, January 19th
Nevada, January 19th
Florida, January 29th

Many of you might know, but Dr. Ron Paul was left out of the Republican forum on the Fox News Channel last night. I personally think it was crazy to leave him out, and a total mistake on Fox News part.

Well I was wrong on just about everything except 1 big thing….Clinton finished last on the Democrat side. I did get that right!

4. Thompson 13%
5. Paul 10%

The biggest thing that stood out to me about Iowa was the uniform vote for change in America. Bottom line, Obama and Huckabee both are a core vote for change. Obama has always been about change, and Huckabee could not be anymore different than the current Republican regime. This was a horrible night for Hillary Clinton, and a really bad night for Mitt Romney. It will be very interesting to see the next few Caucuses. It “could” be a dangerous and slippery slope for Clinton and Romney.

The Money: (cash on hand)
Obama – 36 mil
Edwards- 12.3
Clinton- 50.4 mil

Huckabee- .6 mil
Romney- 9.2 mil
McCain-3.4 mil
Thompson- 7.1 mil
Paul- 5.4 mil
Giulliani- 16.6 mil

Next <strike>Caucuses</strike> Primaries to watch:
New Hampshire, January 8th
South Carolina, January 19th
Nevada, January 19th
Florida, January 29th

In closing: Obama’s speech was amazing, almost a goose bump speech. Huckabee’s speech was really, really good. The next few weeks is going to be awesome…The race to Super Tuesday is on!

I was totally inspired by Brian, and his post about Iowa Caucus predictions. He is also going to be posting tonight on his Twitter…so I recommend following him if you are interested.

Here are my prediction for the Iowa caucuses.

Democrats

1. Edwards 27%
2. Obama 26%
3. Clinton 25%
All other Democrats will fall under the 15% required.

Republicans

1. Romney 28%
2. Huckabee 26%
3. Paul 16%
4. McCain 9%

My Unintelligent and rookie political thoughts… The Democrats are going to be a LOT of fun to watch. I think it will be VERY close…but the 4 year campaigning from Edwards will pay off for all the uncertain voters. I also think the Clinton camp will really be in a tail spin from coming in 3rd and the crazy spin will come out for sure! On the Republican side I think Romney will pull it out because of Huckabees stumbles this last week. I think people see through his stunt with the (non)airing of his negative video. I also think that Paul’s supporters will come out in a big way and come in with a very strong 3rd. McCain will come in with a solid percentage and I do think that Thompson will drop out after Iowa.

Who knows…but this is a lot of fun.
