YouVersion Alpha Has Left The Building
Wow, it has been a really awesome six weeks! A lot of coffee, not a lot of sleep, and a team of designers and developers that have freakin blown my mind! YouVersion Alpha is here….
So here are the Alpha details….we are sending out invitations throughout the day, and will go to a very limited group of participants. The purpose of the Alpha in this stage is more of a “proof of concept”, and does not include all of the features that the private Beta release will include. You can get more details at the YouVersion blog.
The roadmap is nearly complete, and the 57 days will be intense…but fun for sure. Check out all screen shots and read more here. Oh yea, if you did not get your Alpha invite….get your email address in the the system at YouVersion.com, more invites will be spinning out real soon!

Excited to hear things are beginning. It’s been great to read up on the progress and the resource this will be. As you begin to hand out invites, keep us little guys in mind. We’d do you proud

Is there a board setup for alpha/beta testers to dialogue with the devs? We need a linear conversation platform. I’d recommend PunBB or Vanilla. Anything, just so we are all on the same page.

Terry – Working with you and the team on the project has definitely been fun, challenging, exciting–at times tiring–but definitely rewarding. What’s cool is working on a project that I’m going to absolutely love using in my personal life too. Tonight, I think a really good night sleep is in order
