  • This week has been dominated by The Almost - Southern Weather.
There’s something for everyone in that album.
    Other than that, it’s been:
    The Beatles - Revolver
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
    The Beatles - The Beatles
    The Beatles - Abbey Road
The Beatles - Let It Be
Family Force 5 - Business Up Front/Party In The Back
    Bleach - Astronomy

  • Mute Math - Awesome! If you haven’t seen the video for “Typical” yet, check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=b13rc6DY74A

    Really cool!!

  • Dude, that video is awesome. I love Mute Math!

    toby mac - portable sounds
mat kearney - nothing left to lose
    u2 - hits
    amy winehouse- back to black
    christa black -
    roots - game theory

  • You can NEVER go wrong with Mutemath…I agree with you…love the “Typical” video.
I have been digging on TobyMac’s “Portable Sounds” and Audio Adrenaline’s “Adios”

    Peace!

  • I’ve been looking at some creature speakers. How do you like them, Terry?

  • Question, will there ever be another band like Zep or U2? I mean, I know the whole music industry landscape has changed and is changing on an hourly basis, so with everything so fractured it seems nearly impossible to reach that status. Maybe it doesn’t matter and it is cool for bands just to have more modest followings like say…Modest Mouse? “These times they are achangin’”

  • Tony, yea they are ok. Good highs and decent lows. A big lack in the mids…but for the money not bad.

Rocket, never is a hard work…but a band like Zep, I just don’t think so. That is my favorite band of all time, and in my humble opinion the best rock and roll band of all times. NO DOUBT!

U2, like them, (Bono)huge impact on the world, but I just don’t see them a a huge influence on the music world. Don’t get me wrong, they are great….but not in the Zep category from a true music side.

I am sure that will stir up the pot!

  • I’m not sure I agree with you about U2 not being on the same strata as Led Zeppelin. Zep was more inventive, but U2 has a much broader appeal. Hey I love Dyer Maker just as much as the next guy, but the Joshua Tree stuff probably has more fans. Maybe I could reach a compromise by saying that Zep was a great rock-n-rock band and U2 is a great pop band?
