Today we added our latest worship podcast to iTunes. Let me introduce you to Stephen Cole, our OKC Worship leader…

This podcast includes one of my favorite worship sets ever. Stephen had a great rapper with him…and it was amazing. Check out 05-13-07 to hear what I am talking about!

Terry,
I’ve been enjoying the SouthOKC and Tulsa podcasts for a couple of months. These podcasts have challenged me to rethink how we record our own worship, and what I can do to help fulfill our Worship Pastor’s desire to make our worship music more accessible to our congregation outside of Sunday and Wednesday services. Looking forward to checking out this new podcast. I’ve already subscribed via iTunes.

Terry, how does LifeChurch get away with podcasting songs like these. Aren’t there copyright issues that have to be dealt with? When I was with a small church our sound guys always told me we couldn’t put any of our music online because of copyright infringement.

Brenton, great question. We do have rights, and have gone through all the legal steps to do it right. Without me double checking, I don’t know what that is off the top of my head. But on Monday I will comment here about it.
