I've been saving for an i-phone but after reading your review and trusting your judgment my wife got me a curve for father's day. I haven't mastered the darn thing yet, but so far I'm loving it. Thanks!

I did have the Pearl Eloy. No, I really was not that challenging to pick up the larger device. I thought it was going to be more of a problem then it really was.

The full keyboard was WAY worth it for sure!

Amen, brotha. I don't know what I'd do without my Blackberry, but I'm a bit behind. [just upgraded to the 8703 & still using a trackwheel] Would love the camera feature, & the Curve looks pretty sweet but isn't supported by Verizon yet. Was the trackball navigation hard to get used to?

I agree - email is important. While my Windows Mobile 5.0 device doesn't do email as quick as the blackberry I still like it for the fact that it has full WiFi capabilities. I don't have the data plan on it but 90% of the places I work with my phone have WiFi access so I always have access to my Gmail account and any Google documents or notes on my iGoogle homepage. I have seen a few of my friends with a blackberry and I do like the speed. That is one thing that I wish could be improved on some of the newer Windows Mobile smart phones.

Many people have mistakenly assumed the iPhone was intended to be a business phone and have given it negative grades. I don't think that is the case. The iPhone was designed for the mass market iPod crowd to combine their iPod and phone.
