ear bud madness…
The ear buds and creature speakers were heavily focused on these tunes this week!
Before I list them, let me set it up a little. When I am stressed, or under pressure all I want to listen to is hard driving music. So, when you see the playlist keep that in mind!
-> Metallica, Ride the Lightning, The Black Album
-> Rage Against the Machine, Random playlist of all albums
-> Linkin Park, Meteora, Live in Texas
-> Muse, Absolution
-> Incubus, Random playlist of all albums
UPDATE: Totally random, the song New Skin by Incubus is amazing. It’s older, but I missed this one!
So, when the stress is high, and you are under the gun, what do your playlist look like?

Mine is pretty similar, but sometimes I’ll throw in some, house and drum&bass techno for good measure.. especially when I desperately need to get “in the zone.”

When I get stressed, I listen to more chilled or laid back music. It calms me.

I would definitely agree with your choices, but I would also add some AC/DC Back in Black, and maybe some early Van Halen to make it a little light and fun.

When tend to be a pretty wired guy - I’m stressed most of the time and love being busy. In extra stressful times, I like to listen to music which counters the emotion to keep me “balanced.” For me this is usually calm stuff, but more than calm - its ULTRA-CREATIVE. idk, maybe creative (unusual) music just gets my brain out of “administration mode.”
Bobby McFerrin’s “Hush” album (combo with Yo-Yo Ma!).
Eric Whitacres’ “Cloudburst” album.
Miles Davis “Kind of Blue” album.
Bruce Hornsby “Here Come the Noisemakers.”

Nothing but live commentary of the cricket World Cup!
However now that you mentioned Ride the lightning and RATM.. I’ll have to take a break and fire up iTunes!

Linkin Park…Numb
Even though the philosophy of the song is opposite of the way we should see God, it has a cool sound.

Depends…
If I’m mad or aggitated then I like to fight some foo. If I’m stressed and need to focus..then chill music. Groove Armada, Zero 7, Sunsets and Sushi, things of that sort and nature.
