Google Reader Reboot

I have to shoot straight with you….I have not read a blog in nearly two weeks. NO Google Reader, period. Part of me really enjoyed it! I opened a physical paper for the first time in months this weekend and that was kinda cool. I felt all adult sitting at Starbucks, sipping coffee reading the paper. All I was missing was a big porch, yellow dog and a rocking chair. :)

Anyway…my personality type would not allow me to filter through thousands of old posts so I Rebooted Google Reader this morning. CTR-ALT-DEL…. Start over!

Interesting thought….I did not read a blog for 14 or so days and I am still functioning just fine….hummmm. Just thinking.

Good idea, but if I wasn’t reading blogs, what other excuse could I use for not weeding my gardens, cleaning my house, staining my deck…. ;)

Yeah, blogs are kind of the catch-all for not getting everything else done, aren’t they?

Terry, don’t believe the hype. Just because you’re not experiencing the physical symptoms of anti-blogism, doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous! You could be doing SERIOUS damage to your psyche right now by not reading other people’s blogs.

    Tread lightly my friend.

    Hey -
We call that “RSS Bankruptcy” … i heard Carlos @ RagamuffinSoul use that term once … now and then, I’m forced to do the same thing w/ Google Reader and hit the “mark all read” button!

Found you via TonyMorganLive .. I’m a blogger and Worship Pastor.

    Terry,

I have recently found myself constantly blogging and checking others blogs. Some of these people just don’t blog enough for me but when they blog it’s really really long. However I have become the blog evalengist in my church office all the Pastors now have blogs and they love them and their teams love them too. I look forward to the day when blogs are more and more convient to read. I wish people just wouldn’t make posts so long.

I’m just hoping that paper was The Oklahoman. My company thanks you. (New York Times would be fine too).
