Clinton and McCain were supposed to win in New Hampshire, because they are institutional Democrats and Republicans - contrary to polling data that was probably a little skewed after Iowa. This is also why Richardson got a decent percentage because he&#039;s a well known, life long Democrat. They used to say you couldn&#039;t win the election if you didn&#039;t win New Hampshire, but the last few election results have proved differently. At least, that&#039;s what they teach me in my political science classes.
