Randomness from the Airport

In the airport on my way to Atlanta for Catalyst.Ever wonder about the “stuff” on the floor? Took my shoes off to go through security in the airport when I looked around and most people had there shoes off as well. No socks, just feet…on the tile floor. What is on my feet now?Why is there not a Starbucks outside the airport? Every airport should have a drive through Starbucks outside!More power. The airport terminal is all about jockeying for position for power. When you find a power outlet there is always a waiting line…Is this really the best way to do it? Every airport is just about the same….Can we not make this experience better? I look around, people sitting…maybe on a laptop, maybe a paper, but just sitting. Looks like an opportunity for improving the experience. Who knows.Hate that I am going to miss my boy Los on La Ink tonight…Thank the Lord for TIVO.Excited to hear Craig’s talk at Catalyst. Wonder who else is speaking….might take a hour to figure that out.Looks like there is a meet up of sorts…wanna connect? Go here.Scott pointed out to me that the ministryCOM pictures are available. Scary!Time to jet…have a great afternoon. And I hope to see you in Atlanta. One last thing….Tony Romo rocks! Go Cowboys….

Terry, Hey man. I’ve never been to ministryCOM, but I went and checked out the photos per your blog post. I didn’t know it… but I saw that my buddy; Michael Neale, led some worship there. I didn’t know he was even going to be there until I perused the site photos. I don’t know if you met Michael or not… he’s a great guy. He and I first met and worked together at Christ Fellowship, down in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He’s at The People’s Church now, up in Franklin, Tennessee. Anyway, I thought I’d give a shout-out.

Yeah…why there is not good coffee and food (and a good ale) in airports is beyond me. My most essential request for airports though is just to have a plane on time….for once!
T…good to see you in OKC

Love the jacket at MC – I think the color would be Salmon.

I don’t even want to know what is on the floor. Maybe some medical shoe covers would be a good idea.

Tip for airport power outlets: Carry a three- or six-way plug adapter (or power strip) in your laptop bag. Most people do not mind being unplugged for a second while you hook up yourself and others nearby. A short, grounded extension cord can help you too if the plug area is crowded with people tethered to the wall by short laptop power cables.

Take it from someone who travels more than humanly possible. Always wear socks when going through security checkpoints.

Admirals Club Membership, takes you out of the noise and fray of the terminal.

Power is a problem; the funny thing is when you see people who are paying for power when a power outlet that does not require payment is a few steps away.

Terminal D at DFW is trying to enhance the airport experience but the reality is that the airline industry is just now recovering from financial problems in the past.

    Travel is definitely overrated…..

Nice outfit at Ministry.com, I don’t think we who know you would expect anything less, LOL!!!
