tiger woods, web2.0 and church

Yes, 3 things I love. But that is not the reason for the title…

I just read a blog post over at Micro Persuasion entitled: Become an Online Influencer by Modeling Tiger Woods

Here’s a closer look at the nine traits through a Web 2.0 lens. They are valuable not only for individuals, but also marketers who what to stay relevant in this chaotic environment as well as startups that are competing in a flat world where anyone can eat your lunch. -Steve Rubel

What is missing? I think this might be the best post about the local church thats not about the local church that I have read in a long time.

Maybe I should copy the post and say something like this:

Here’s a closer look at the nine traits through a dynamic local church lens. They are valuable not only for individuals, but also leaders and pastors who what to stay relevant in this ever changing environment as well as large churches that are struggling to innovate and execute in a flat world where the young and hungry churches are blowing your doors off. -Terry Storch

I really like it, hope you enjoy it as well. [link]

That is all very true. These are perfect for applying in more than just Web 2.0 or church, but more like life in general.
    Thanks for the share.

Very nice! Love the way Rubel’s take fits what the church ought to be. Funny…I had glanced at the headline yesterday and blazed by, didn’t read it. Thanks for pointing to his post. It is a good one!

That’s a good line drawn to the church. Tiger is quite simply the best putter that has ever lived, and when trying to save par from inside 8 feet, he is money.

That’s what some churches are missing…where are they the best in the world? They seem to cease being relevant becuase they change who they are instead of changing the what they do to be who they are.

    Good stuff man…

If I were Tiger I would probably do anything I could to get my mind of my troubles.
