Podcasting Report
Podcasting at LifeChurch.tv has totally blown up over the past few months. In the last 5 months we have averaged over 14 TB of monthly transfer just in podcasts alone. That is Terabytes, not Gigabytes. I would guess that total monthly transfer with all we do would be in the neighborhood of 22-23 TB’s.
For our licensing requirements we have to report quarterly on the music that is downloaded. I thought I would share with you the top 20 worship songs that are downloaded and how many….so here ya go.

Isn’t it incredible the way we can spread the message! This is awesome. Keep up the GREAT work. You guys are sharpening all of us.
One question for you, does lightcast catch all those stats for you or do you use another program? We have to find something to help us capture that same information. Any help is appreciated.

What license do you have that you can provide songs for download? How does that work? Is it on your site somewhere?

Would you be able to do a post on what license you guys use for podcasting the worship songs. This is something we would really like to do but don’t know how to do it legally.

Have you ever considered using bittorrent to help with the bandwidth issues? I could definitely see using torrents for the Open content (especially the ISO DVD images)

I started Podcasting about a year ago and it is more exciting than blogging. I love podcasting maybe because i love music so much and radio programs when i was still a kid.
